Gate Safe is a recognised charity with the aim of improving the safety of the installation and maintenance of automated gates. As Gate Safe Installers, we align with their goals and values and invest our time in educating ourselves in the required protocol to ensure a safe and compliant installation as well as our customers on how to stay safe with an automatic gate.
We recommend a full gate service every 6 months to a year, depending on how often you use your gates. This allows us to check gate safety and prevent future expensive repair costs.

Committing to Safety
Committing to safety with automatic gates is essential to prevent accidents, protect property and property value, comply with regulations, and ensure peace of mind for our customers, here is how we ensure gate safety from installation:
- We ensure all automatic gates comply with the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
- We undertake full risk assessments on our gates according to the complex British Standards
- All our gates feature at least 2 different types of safety devices
- We install all gates according to the manufacturers’ instructions, making checks and adjustments as necessary
- We will give you, the customer, instructions on how to use and maintain the gates
In the event of your automated gate system not working, you can depend on Ascot Gate Automation to respond promptly. We take pride in offering gate repairs you can count on. Our engineers possess extensive knowledge across all automation brands on the market and have many years of experience in the industry, ensuring a fast and reliable service. If your automated gates do not comply with the latest safety regulations, an engineer will report back and advise you, our valued customer, on what is required.
